Refund policy
Where the money stands if things change.
Design work is time, not inventory. This page explains exactly what can be refunded and what cannot, so nobody is surprised later.

01The $25 design fee
The design fee is refundable only if you cancel before your project plan has been written. Once the plan is written, the work it paid for is done.
02Before design work begins
If you cancel a Pay In Full project before any design work has started, you receive a full refund of the package price. The design fee follows the rule above.
03After design work begins
Once design work has started, refunds are prorated based on what has been completed. Completed pieces are not refundable, and you keep them.
We will show you what has been built and what portion of the total it represents before issuing anything back.
04After the website is delivered
Once your website is delivered and live, the project is complete and payments are not refundable. Revisions inside your package still apply.
05Build As You Pay
Payments already made on a Build As You Pay project cover pieces already built and are not refundable.
Stopping is always allowed. You keep every piece you have paid for and nothing further is charged. Remaining pieces simply are not built.
06Third party costs
Domain, hosting, email, and other third party services are paid to those providers directly and follow their own refund rules. We cannot refund money that never came to us.
07If we cannot finish
If for any reason we cannot complete your project, you receive a refund for everything paid and not delivered, and you keep the completed work and files.
08How to request a refund
Send the request through the contact form with your project name. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method, usually within five to ten business days.
