This opens your project. It is what starts your paperwork, intake, and plan — not a deposit on the build.

The agreement sets clear expectations. The intake collects your pages, content, photos, and preferences in one guided pass.

Receive your personalized Project Plan
We turn your intake into a written plan that lists every piece of your website and what each one costs.

Purchase website pieces at your pace
Buy one piece, buy several, or buy the rest at once. There is no required rhythm.

We build what has been paid for
Each purchased piece moves into the build queue and gets built, reviewed with you, and revised.

Continue until the website is complete
Repeat at whatever pace fits your business until the last piece of the plan is finished and the site is fully live.

What pausing does NOT do
Pausing Build As You Pay only stops future pieces from being purchased and built. It does not:
- Remove or shut off completed paid work
- Charge your card automatically on preferred dates
- Charge interest or fees
- Send anything to collections
- Affect your credit
- Require you to buy future pieces

Questions about building in pieces
- What happens to the parts I have not purchased yet?
- They stay unbuilt until you purchase them. Nothing is removed, nothing is owed, and your finished pieces keep working while you decide.
- Will my website stop working if I pause?
- No. Pausing only means future pieces are not purchased or built yet. If a smaller working version is already live, it stays live. Completed paid pieces are not removed or shut off.
- What happens to completed paid pieces if I pause?
- They stay built and working. Pausing Build As You Pay does not undo, remove, or shut off anything you have already paid for.
- Do preferred payment dates charge my card automatically?
- No. They are reminders and planning dates only. You choose when to make each purchase.
- Can my website go live before every piece is bought?
- Often yes. Many businesses launch a smaller working version first and add pages and features later.
- Is Build As You Pay financing or credit?
- No. It is not a loan, financing, credit, or a buy now pay later plan. There is no credit check, no interest, no collections, and no effect on your credit. You are buying website work one piece at a time.
- How is my project split into pieces?
- Your personalized project plan splits the work after your intake, based on your package, your pages, and the features you asked for.
- Are SiteByPiece websites just templates?
- No. SiteByPiece has demo website concepts for inspiration and starting direction, but each real project is planned from the client intake, package, requested pages and features, content, photos, and branding. The completed website is handed over to the business that paid for it.
- What happens to the finished website after I pay for it?
- The website belongs to the business that paid for it. SiteByPiece designs and builds business websites, then hands them over to the business that paid for them.
- How much does it cost to start a website with SiteByPiece?
- Every project starts with a $25 design fee. It opens your project, includes the guided intake, and leads to a written project plan. Package prices are published on the packages page, and the website itself can be paid in full or with Build As You Pay.
