Ann Arbor and Lansing are harder search markets
In and around Ann Arbor and Lansing, your competition tends to already have a decent site, so being merely present is not enough — the pages have to be specific about what you do and who you do it for.

Michigan questions
- Half my year is busy and half of it is dead. Can the site reflect that?
- Yes, and it should. Seasonal businesses do better with a homepage built to change — a summer offer up front from May, a winter service up front from November — rather than one message that fits neither.
- I sell to other companies, not to the public. Does that change the build?

- Can you take over a site somebody built for me years ago?
